Hero Wanted was ok. I laughed during most of the movie due to unoriginality. Evenything was very predictable. I'd scream "I knew it!" and then laugh.
Cuba Gooding Jr. plays Liam Case, a man very distraught over the loss of his wife. After saving a young victim from a fiery car crash, he is up held in the community as a hero. He is searching for meaning and purpose in life. Soon he witnesses a shooting and seeking revenge on the shooter and all involved. Detective Terry Subcott (Ray Liotta) is the detective assigned to the case of several homicides in the area. He soon realizes that something isn't setting right with the mysterious connection between Case and the victims.
The movie also stars Norman Reedus, Kim Coates, Tommy Flanagan and Christa Campbell. Reedus is an ok actor but he always plays the same character. Angry at life and blames everyone else for what he will never be or never accomplish. Predictable.
First and only movie director Brian Smrz has ever done. If this is a promise of things to come...than please don't make anymore films. Written by Chad Law and Evan Law. They've written a few things. No more, please.
Don't waste your time.
